Our Story

Z-Mac Electric was built on faith, love, and a calling to serve others. Our journey didn’t begin in a boardroom—it started in San Antonio, Texas, with a dream, a prayer, and a trade school certificate.

Lupe began his electrical career later in life, enrolling in a local community college trade program around the age of 35. In 2002, after completing his training, he entered the field as an electrician. Over the years, he gained experience across a wide range of residential and commercial projects, from homes and schools to restaurants and switchgear installations. In 2014, he earned his Master Electrician license in Texas—a major milestone requiring thousands of hours of hands-on work and study. While his Texas license is no longer active due to relocating, his credentials remain a testament to the high level of skill and dedication he brings to every job.

While we dreamed of starting our own business in Texas, we always knew that the time would come to return to Wisconsin to care for aging family. That moment came in 2020, when we moved to Wisconsin to take care of a parent battling dementia. After relocating, Lupe continued working in the field with a local mom-and-pop electrical company.

In 2022, he officially earned his Wisconsin Master Electrician license—bringing our long-held vision to life. Z-Mac Electric was born.

More than just a business, Z-Mac is a ministry. We see each job site as a mission field and every client as someone God might be calling us to encourage, pray for, or simply serve with excellence. We get personal with our clients, sharing meals, praying when prompted, and always striving to leave each situation better than we found it. No job is too big or too small, and every project matters.

Along the way, we also found a way to give back to the animals we love. Inspired by years of rescuing stray dogs in Texas, we now donate 5% of our monthly income to a different animal shelter in Wisconsin.

Z-Mac is about faith in action, expert craftsmanship, and a heart for people and pets alike. We're here to serve—with tools in our hands and love in our hearts.
